To Our Valued Clients,

Thank you for your concern, support, and continued trust as our hometown of Spokane, Washington, and surrounding communities have faced devastating wildfires.

We are grateful to share an important and positive update: our staff and their families who were evacuated are safe and have returned to their homes. Throughout the emergency, the Nelson Securities headquarters in Spokane remained fully operational through our business continuity and disaster recovery plans, allowing us to continue serving our clients without interruption.

We received an extraordinary number of calls, emails, and texts from clients, friends, and colleagues across the country and around the world checking on the safety and well-being of our team. We are deeply grateful to everyone who reached out. Your kindness and concern have meant a great deal to all of us.

We are also deeply grateful for the extraordinary efforts of our local fire departments, emergency responders, National Guard, and others who have worked around the clock to contain the fires and protect our communities and continue to do so. Volunteers, support groups, and donors have been remarkable. 

Many of our neighbors who were temporarily evacuated to hotels or the homes of family and friends are now returning home. Sadly, hundreds, if not thousands of others have lost their homes and treasured possessions and will not be returning to the lives they knew. For many, a sense of normalcy may be years away. Our hearts go out to everyone who has lost so much, and we offer our deepest support, thoughts, and prayers as they begin the long and difficult journey of rebuilding their lives.

We continue to wish safety and strength to everyone still affected by the wildfires. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can do to assist or support you.

Our community still faces difficult days and a long road to recovery. Yet the people of the Pacific Northwest have always demonstrated remarkable resilience, compassion, and a willingness to help one another. We are confident that, together, we will rebuild and emerge even stronger.
